Lain Walls (Instructor: Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Musical Theatre)
Lain is an experienced performer, and has performers all over Georgia with Momentum, OnStage Atlanta, Blue Ridge Community Theatre, and Dad's Garage. Lain is currently enrolled as a Musical Theatre student at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
Avery B. (Student Instructor: Guitar, Piano, Musical Theatre)
Avery is a vocalist, pianist, and guitarist from Lawrenceville. She often performs at local festivals and restaurants, including The Hard Rock Cafe. Avery has appeared in musical theatre productions at Momentum and The Aurora Theatre. Avery is the lead vocalist and guitarist in the local band Quality Rated.
Cady W. (Student Instructor: Drums, Piano, Ukulele, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre)
Cady is a seasoned performer with over a decade of training in music and dance, and several years' experience as a instructor and assistant. Cady is a member of the local band Quality Rated, and as an actor is represented by Evolution Talent and The Actors Scene Management. Cady has appeared in over 20 musical theatre productions at OnStage Atlanta, New London Theatre, Blue Ridge Community Theatre, and Momentum.
Maggie Walls (Founder, Artistic Director, Instructor)
Maggie has been a dancer all her life, and has been teaching dance and fitness for over 25 years. While her focus as a young dancer was in Hip Hop and African Dance, Maggie is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and other ethnic and traditional styles. In addition, she is an ACE-certified group fitness instructor with licenses in Zumba, Zumba Gold, POUND, and BollyX. Maggie is an award-winning choreographer with theatre credits that include student shows for Duke University, Shiloh Elementary, Gwinnett Online Campus, Archer High School, and now for Momentum Arts.
Heidi Hernandez (Instructor: Ballet, Tap, Salsa Cubana, Bellydance)
Miss Heidi began her training with Cuban Ballerina Elena del Cueto in Miami during the mid 80's and hasn't stopped dancing or learning since. Along the way she has had the great privilege of studying ballet (Alonso and Vaganova methods), tap (Rhythm and Broadway styles), jazz (Fosse style being her favorite), modern (Graham and Dunham technique), Timba (Salsa Cubana), American Tribal Style Bellydance (ATS ® ) and Tribal Fusion Bellydance. In her challenging yet fun and rewarding classes she enjoys sharing her in depth knowledge of dance and movement while helping each student move past their comfort zone, encouraging growth and development.
